Blake Tillery, a Republican and Georgia State Senator representing the 19th Senate District since 2017, has recently highlighted his campaign activities and legislative priorities through several posts on social media.

On April 1, 2026, Tillery expressed gratitude for a recent candidate forum, stating, “Thank you to the Georgia Black Republican Council – GABRC for hosting a great candidate forum this past weekend. Events like this take a lot of work, and I’m grateful to everyone who made it happen and to the voters who took time out of their Sunday to be there. We had a https://t.co/n1iUzGgc3Y”.

In another post dated April 2, 2026, Tillery emphasized his conservative credentials and willingness to challenge various political groups. He wrote, “Being a true conservative means having the courage to say no. And I do, often. To Democrats and the Left. To special interests. And yes, even to members of my own party. If it were up to the insiders at the Gold Dome, I wouldn’t win this election. But it’s not. It’s up to you.”

Tillery also outlined some legislative actions from the most recent session in an April 4, 2026 post: “- Reduce the state income tax – Eliminate 10 corporate welfare exemptions – Hold sanctuary cities accountable – Fund the first state mental health hospital in over 60 years & much more. These are just a few examples of how I worked this session to protect Georgia families,”.

Tillery was elected to his current position in the Georgia State Senate in 2017 after replacing former state senator Tommie Williams.
