The Douglas-Coffee Drug Unit announced on Mar. 25 that a series of traffic stops between March 17 and March 22, 2026, led to several arrests and the seizure of illegal drugs and firearms.

Authorities say these actions are part of ongoing efforts to address drug-related offenses in the community. The arrests followed coordinated operations involving the Douglas Police Department, the D.I.C.E. Unit, and the Criminal Investigations Division.

On March 17, Brandy Michelle Sweat was stopped by officers near North Madison Avenue and East Jackson Street and found in possession of methamphetamine. Later that day, Leslie Anne Crosby was arrested after a search related to a separate traffic stop on Georgia Highway 32 West uncovered methamphetamine.

The following day, Benjetta Denise Swinson was apprehended during another stop for possessing a stolen firearm as well as fentanyl, molly, and methamphetamine. On March 20, Cory Ian Hulett was charged with trafficking methamphetamine after being found with a large quantity during a stop on Highway 441 North.

Additional incidents included Adan Granados-Camacho’s arrest on March 21 for suspected driving under the influence; subsequent investigation revealed possession of cocaine and a firearm during commission of a crime. On March 22, Billy Reliford Jr was found with methamphetamine near North Madison Avenue.

Officials have not released further details about court proceedings or sentencing but said these operations demonstrate continued vigilance against illegal narcotics activity in Douglas.
