CASHIER-CUSTOMER SERVICE CLERK
The City of Sylvania is seeking to fill a position for a Cashier-Customer Service Clerk. Applicant would be responsible for varied and independent clerical and public contact functions concerned with the production and collection of utility bills, taxes, licenses, fines, and forfeitures and other miscellaneous accounts. In general, employee would be responsible for handling money and working with the public. Applicant must have a working knowledge of modern office equipment practices and procedures. This is a full-time position. Salary increase after six-month successful probationary period and annually thereafter dependent upon budget constraints. Benefits include health insurance options for the employee, retirement, life and disability insurance, vacation, sick leave and holiday pay. Applicant must have a high school diploma and a valid Georgia Driver’s License. Applicant must pass a drug-test. Interested persons must apply at City Hall Monday – Friday, 8:30 -5:00 p.m., 104 South Main Street, Sylvania, GA 30467. Applications will be accepted until position is filled.
