City of Hazlehurst issued the following announcement on Oct. 12
The City of Hazlehurst sincerely welcomes newly hired officers Dustin Bond and Jonathan Meeks to the Hazlehurst Police Department. Captain James Mock of HPD has also released September’s activity, including 656 calls for service, 135 traffic stops, 105 citations issued, 79 warnings given, 54 incidents and cases opened, 15 accidents investigated, 17 arrests and 7,252 miles of Hazlehurst’s streets patrolled. Good job, HPD!
