City of Hazlehurst issued the following announcement on Nov. 6
The administrative team and the Public Works Department at Hazlehurst City Hall are giving advance notice that beginning Monday, November 22, of Thanksgiving week, trash routes will be running early. On that Monday morning, please put your cart out by the street where you normally would and leave it until Wednesday at 6 p.m. on November 24 to ensure it is emptied before the Thanksgiving holidays.
Also note that City Hall will be closed for Thanksgiving from Thursday, November 25 until Monday, November 29. In the coming weeks, we’ll provide reminders and emergency numbers for that time, but just wanted to give everyone early notice of trash pickup and closings. Thanks for your understanding.
