Claxton-Evans County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Nov. 18
Christmas in Claxton is coming! The 14th Annual Celebration will be held Saturday, December 4th, 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on South Newton Street and will include arts and craft vendors, food vendors, live entertainment, Santa & Mrs. Claus and the Parade of Lights (at 6:00).
Also, the Festival of Trees is returning. Trees will be displayed at Claxton City Hall from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day.
