Coffee Regional Medical Center issued the following announcement on Feb. 28
Due to our current COVID inpatient status, we are pleased to be able to move to GREEN for our visitor guidance beginning Monday, February 28th.
Our visitation policy always puts the safety of our patients and caregivers first. We appreciate your support and understanding of our visitation policy changes throughout the past two years.
Under our Green visitation guidance, a designated visitor may stay overnight but is not permitted to re-enter if they leave the facility after designated visiting hours from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Two visitors are permitted in most areas from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Additionally, birthing mothers may have one designated visitor for the duration of the stay. Two additional visitors are permitted during regular visiting hours, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. These additional visitors may alternate. All visitors must be screened at the front desk. Under GREEN level only, siblings of the new baby may visit under special circumstances and when supervised by an adult.
