Of the 3,484 people living in Blackshear in 2020, 52.3 percent (1,822) were women and 47.7 percent (1,662) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SE Georgia News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 69. In the 65 and over age range, there were 560 females and 218 males.
