The Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) Softball coaches announced it's All-Region teams, Player of the Year, Pitcher of the Year, and Coach of the Year on Thursday, and Andrew College's Hailey Stovall was named to the GCAA All-Region 2nd Team as an infielder.
Stovall, a sophomore from Bradenton, FL and Bradenton Christian School, was a multi-sport athlete for the Lady Tigers this year, taking the pitch for the women's soccer team in the fall as a mid-fielder, then transitioning into the starting shortstop for the softball team, where she started all 48 games for Andrew, leading the Tigers in at bats (162), runs (25), hits (57), doubles (15), and batting average (.352), and made 13 appearances in the circle. She was also named to the Dean's List (3.5-3.99 GPA) for the spring semester, and graduated last Saturday with an Associate of Science major in Health Sciences.
Stovall's mother, Lacey Williams, is a former standout soccer player at Andrew College.
