CRMC’s Community Health & Wellness Fair is on October 8

Coffee Regional Medical Center’s 2022 Community Health & Wellness Fair is fast approaching. Open to everyone, Saturday, October 8th, will be an educational health and wellness day filled with fun and fitness. This event will be held on the campus of Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas. Open to the public, 8:30 am – 12:00 pm, there will be health & wellness screenings, educational booths, and interactive activities for all ages.

Discounted blood panels will be offered again at this year's health fair.  These panels are $40 each (can be paid by cash or check) and include:

• Lipid Analysis

• Hemoglobin & Hematocrit

• CMP – Comprehensive Metabolic Profile

• TSH – Thyroid Stimulating Hormone

The “Pink Out Charity Walk & Fun Run” will be sponsored by Beta Sigma Phi, Alpha Theta Chapter. This will begin at 9:00 am and will truly be a family fun activity for most fitness levels and ages. The event will feature a 5k fun run, a 2-mile walk, and a 1-mile bike ride for the kids. Cancer survivors are invited to join the 2-mile survivor walk at no cost. Bring your family, friends, four-legged pals, decorated bikes & strollers, and join the fun!! Awards will be given to the best-decorated bike, the best pink costume, and the largest registered team. Proceeds will benefit Beta Sigma Phi’s Passionately Pink mission as well as the new Oncology Wellness Program at CRMC. Advanced registration deadline for the race is Thursday, October 6th at 7:30pm. Early packet pick-up is Friday, October 7th, between 11am & 2pm at the Pink House located at 811 Columbia Avenue in Douglas.  Applications & full details of the “Pink Out Charity Walk & Fun Run” can be found at www.wellness247.org/events
