The Andrew College Men's Golf team wrapped their 2022 Fall Season on Tuesday at the Jefferson State Community College Pioneer Invitational, shooting 303-301=604(+36) on the Musgrove Golf Club Blue Course to finish T9th, and Linus Landahl recorded his best collegiate finish, firing 69-70=139(-3), to secure a runner-up finish, two strokes behind winner Joe Pennington of Coastal Alabama CC, who shot the low score of the tournament, a 67(-3), to climb five spots for the victory.
Landahl has now been named All-Tournament for the second contest in a row, and his recent strong play has him cracking the Top 100 in the latest Golfstat ranking of National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I players, landing in 95th place.
Burke Rawlinson vaulted 18 spots in round two, firing an 80-74=154(+12) to finish T41st in the 86 person field, Oscar Petitjean climbed 8 positions, carding a 79-76=155(+13), good for a T50th finish, Jonathan Stern signed for a 77-81=158(+16), and Gabriel Johnston shot 78-84=162(+20) to round out the Tiger scoring.
Andrew will resume tournament play in late January, at the 2023 Titan Winter Invitational in Melbourne, FL
