Congratulations to Augusta Prep seniors Priya Sharma and Kian Sheridan on each advancing to the regional review stage for the Jefferson Scholarship, a prestigious scholarship offered by the University of Virginia.
According to jeffersonscholars.org, more than 2,100 students from 49 U.S. states and territories and 46 countries were nominated in 2021. Last year, 52 students, including Augusta Prep's Kathryn Geoffroy, were selected for a Jefferson Scholarship, which has a total value of $333,000 for out-of-state students.
