The Georgia Southern track and field team opens the outdoor campaign at the UCF Black and Gold Invite at the UCF Soccer and Track Complex Friday.
Six Eagles were named Indoor All-Sun Belt as Georgia Southern is coming off a fifth-place finish at the Sun Belt Indoor Championship, their best finish after joining the league prior to the 2014-15 season. Scovia Ayikoru, Megan Bolton, Sofia Molina and NaJ Watson were named first-team all-league, while Devine Parker earned second-team honors and Imani Moore garnered third-team accolades.
Following this weekend's competition, the Eagles have a week off before traveling to the Texas Relays March 31-April 1.
