Nissa Mitchell assumes chair role at annual meeting

The annual meeting witnessed a change in leadership as Nissa Mitchell took over as the new Chair. She emphasized her goals for 2025, focusing on membership and business growth. "The Chamber exists to support our members. Our members know involvement with the Chamber is an important tool for increasing their visibility and providing a prosperous business environment," she stated.

Stephanie Williams, who could not attend due to illness, was acknowledged as the outgoing chair. Retiring board members Trent Williams, Aries Haygood, and Allen Crump were also recognized during the event.

Ricky Mitchell received the prestigious Chair Award from Stephanie Williams for his dedication during the construction phase of the Greater Vidalia Center for Rural Entrepreneurship.

Entertainment was provided by Common Band. The event was supported by sponsors including Dot Foods as Presenting Sponsor, and Gold Sponsors CleanSpark, Ohoopee River Brewing Co., Spivey Orthopedic Clinic, and Terry’s Flooring and Blinds.
