On Tuesday, March 18, former Wayne County High School standout Zach Thomas’ current college team, the Mercer Bears, won 9-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Florida State Seminoles.
The game took place at Mike Martin Field at Dick Howser Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Seminoles this season.
The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 6 p.m. at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park against Citadel Bulldogs.
