In a letter to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, the Coffee County Board of Elections has refused to certify election recount results.

Board Chairperson Ernestine Thomas-Clark stated that the Dominion Voting System machines could not repeat duplicate credible results.

“Any system, financial, voting, or otherwise, that is not repeatable nor dependable should not be used. To demand certification of patently inaccurate results neither serves the objective of the electoral system nor satisfies the legal obligation to certify the electronic recount,” read the letter.

The letter said that as a board, it had voted to certify the election night report. A third count would have resulted in lack of credibility of the results as the anomalies with the voting system are irreconcilable. Raffensperger had however already recertified the state results.
